SMARTEAM - Community Workspace is a web-based, collaborative product commerce (CPC) solution, enabling project communities to easily and securely collaborate and manage product information within their extended enterprise and across the value chain, by creating your own web portal. Community members can store, search, view, download, and review product specification and configurations, CAD drawings, Bills of Materials, and all your other vital company documents securely over the web. This push/pull solution can reside at the OEM, where it allows business to communicate and collaborate on product revisions and engineering changes within supply channels. Information can then be extended to remote personnel, OEM vendors and others to provide a B2B solution that connects engineering, manufacturing, procurement and sales together. Workflow procedures are also managed in SmarTeam - Community Workspace, where team members across the extended enterprise can initiate engineering change procedures, monitor approval processes and receive notification when a change is made.
